Assembly Steps
Step 1: Configure the System

Make sure the OneBite has arrived in two separate pieces. Before mounting, make sure the record is secured with bite material on the sides of the knob and in the middle of the knob.

Step 2: Connect Arch

Assembling the OneBite for articulation. Slide the arch onto the midline and horizontal line bars and make sure it is secure.

Step 3: Cut the Horizontal Bar

On the horizontal bar there are two vertical separators on the top and bottom. Cut the excess on both ends so it fits properly in the articulator. (semi-adjustable articulators only)

Step 4: Mount the Upper Arch

If the doctor sends a facebow, mount your upper arch as usual. The OneBite will become the verification of that record. If the doctor doesn't send a facebow, mount the OneBite with a semi-adjustable articulator. Place the OneBite on any flat mounting table and place the upper arch for final mounting.

Step 5: Mount the Lower Arch

Lastly, articulate the lower arch with the final bite that the doctor has approved.

Common Mistakes:
  • If bars are not secured with bite material, always question the accuracy and place bite material to secure it.

  • The bars always have to line up with the articulator. Even though the arch might be canted.
