Digital Portal File Conversion 




The Digital Articulation option aligns the case to the patient’s values in 3D space. The output will be the same STL files you submit, but they will be accurately positioned according to the 3D values for your specific software. If you prefer your files converted and sent back to your preferred software, this is where file conversion becomes essential. For Exocad users, until the upcoming Exocad tool is released, you will need to submit your files here for proper arch placement.


Step By Step Guide


Step 1: Select the Output

In the digital portal, select the Digital Articulation conversion option and specify the preferred turnaround time.


Step 2: Fill out the Case Information

In the Portal, the following information will need to be entered to continue.


  • Software type

  • Articulator brand

  • Baseline value

  • Midline value


Step 3: Upload the Patient Files
Upload the patient's upper, lower, full bite, and OneBite Cube scans, along with photos showing the front and side of the patient with the OneBite Evolution aligned in position. Additionally, include a photo of the patient smiling from the front with no equipment.




For cross mounted cases, select the cross mounting conversion option and submit the additional files.

Information to Submit:

  • The Baseline Z Value

  • The Midline Y Value

  • Articulator Brand

  • Software Type


Files to Submit:

  • Upper Scan

  • Lower Scan

  • Bite Scan

  • OneBite Cube Record Scan


Photography to Submit:

  • Front of the patient with the OneBite Evolution aligned to the midline

  • Side of the patient with the OneBite Evolution aligned to the condyle

  • Front of patient smiling with no equipment
